| Product Description:
Thermo-Chi® [Weight Loss]. Theoretically, losing weight is a very simple process: simply expend more energy than you consume. The energy you consume in foods is normally measured in calories. If the rate at which the body uses energy can be increased, weight loss will come more easily. Fortunately, there is a speeding-up process called thermogenesis, which is raising body temperature to speed up the metabolism. This increases the burning of calories. Thermogenesis occurs naturally during periods of exercise and may be promoted with herbs, too. Herb-based Thermo-Chi contains only natural ingredients. Its key constituents are ma huang herb and white willow bark, with a supporting cast of important herbs and minerals. Ma huang naturally contains ephedrine, while white willow bark contains salicin. Chromium, another component of Thermo-Chi, is an essential trace element that functions in carbohydrate and fat metabolism. Many herbal weight-loss programs use caffeine-containing herbs such as kola nuts, bissy nuts, colanitida, herba mate and guarana. Thermo-Chi is 100 percent caffeine-free. AM Packets (breakfast and lunch): Each packet contains 2 Nature’s Chi® capsules (ma huang concentrate, dong quai root, ho shou wu root, astragalus root, Siberian ginseng root) and 2 APS II® with White Willow Bark capsules (white willow bark, valerian root, wild lettuce leaves and capsicum fruit). Each AM Packet supplies 25 mg total ephedra alkaloids. Evening Packet: Each packet contains 1 capsule each of SF® Concentrate (chickweed herb, cascara sagrada bark, licorice root, safflower flower, parthenium root, black walnut hulls, gotu kola herb, hawthorn berries, papaya fruit, fennel seeds, dandelion root), 2 capsules of Thyroid Activator (Irish moss plant, kelp plant, black walnut hulls, parsley herb, watercress herb, sarsaparilla root), 1 tablet of GTF Chromium (an amino acid chelate and nicotinate in a base of alfalfa herb, red clover tops, yarrow flowers and horsetail herb) and 2 capsules of AS with Gymnema (brindall berries, gymnema leaves, marshmallow root, psyllium hulls). CAUTION: This product contains ephedra. See your health care provider prior to use if: pregnant or nursing, any medical condition exists or when taking any prescription drug. Discontinue if nervousness, sleeplessness, loss of appetite or nausea occur. Maximum ephedrine dose for healthy adults is 100 mg per 24-hour period, for no longer than 12 weeks. Improper use of this product may be hazardous to your health. Not intended for persons under 18. Not to be taken with other ephedra or ephedra-containing products. Each Thermo-Chi package contains 42 packets. Take one AM packet with breakfast, one AM packet with lunch and one PM packet with dinner daily for 14 days as part of a sound weight-loss program.
